Toronto D-Camps Spring Camp Day
You’re invited to come out and join us for our Toronto Spring Camp Day at Seneca College King Day Camp. You can expect a fun afternoon filled with great activities, including climbing, hiking, and more! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to catch up and connect with the D-Camps community and meet some new friends! D-Camps staff will be present to answer any questions about camp.  The whole family is welcome to join us for the afternoon. Parents/guardians are required to stay for the duration of the event. Lunch will not be provided. D-Camps will provide low supplies for the event; however, please bring all your required diabetes management supplies needed for the day.

Location: Seneca College King Day Camp, 13990 Dufferin Street, King City, Ontario.
Time: 1pm – 4:30 pm
Cost: Free – Cash and clothesline donations accepted at the event!

We are asking folks to please register so that we and our rental facilities are best prepared for the eventful afternoon! Camp Huronda Open House

New to camp? Thinking about camp? Interested in a day of family fun? All families and participants new and returning are invited to Camp Huronda for a day of fun! Tours, rock climbing, boating and a first time camper presentation will be available to families during the day! A by donation BBQ will be running from 12 – 1pm (Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan Options will be available). Parents and guardians are expected to supervise their minor aged participants. Low supplies will be provided, however, please bring all diabetes management supplies required. Event will occur rain or shine.

Cost: Free – Cash donations accepted at the event.
Clothesline donations will also be accepted at this event!

Camp Huronda Volunteer Work Day

Come out and lend a hand to making Camp Huronda a better place! All friends of Huronda are welcome to this day of reconnect, work and friendship. A BBQ lunch will be provided from 12 – 1pm. It is encouraged that volunteers arrive at 10am to receive a group briefing and training on various equipment. A task list will be circulated to registered participants prior to the event. Please register prior to attending.

Nova Scotia T1D Family Day, hosted by Camp Morton and Camp Lion Maxwell

New to camp? Thinking about camp? Interested in a day of family fun? All families and participants new and returning are invited to the Board Room Game Café’s Bedford Location. We will have access to over four hundred board games and lunch will be provided. D-Camps staff will be on hand to answer questions about camp and parents/guardians are expected to stay for the duration of the event. Low supplies will be provided, however, please bring all diabetes management supplies required. This event is free but cash donations are welcome.
 
Location: Board Room Café, Bedford Location, 936 Bedford Highway, Bedford, Nova Scotia.  
Time: 11am-2pm

Prince Edward Island T1D Family Day hosted by Camp Red Fox

New to camp? Thinking about camp? Interested in a day of family fun? All families and participants new and returning are invited to the Murphy’s Community Centre in Charlottetown. We will have access to bowling lanes for an hour of knocking down pins, and we’ll have an afternoon slice of pizza afterwards too! D-Camps staff will be on hand to answer questions about camp and parents/guardians are expected to stay for the duration of the event. Low supplies will be provided, however, please bring all diabetes management supplies required. This event is free but cash donations are welcome.
 
Location: The Alley at Murphy’s Community Centre, 200 Richmond St, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.  
Time: 1:30pm-3:45pm
Cost: Free – Cash donations accepted at the event!

Newfoundland T1D Family Day hosted by Camp Douwanna
New to camp? Thinking about camp? Interested in a day of family fun? All families and participants new and returning are invited to an “Airstrike Party” at MAX Athletics’ New Cove location! Participants will be given the chance to dodge nerf gun darts in a safe environment with MAX staff on hand for any help or assistance. Lunch will be provided and D-Camps staff will be present to answer any questions about camp. Parents/guardians are expected to stay for the duration of the event. Low supplies will be provided, please bring all diabetes management supplies required. This event is free but cash donations are welcome.
 
Location: MAX Arts, Atheletics and Wellness, 34 New Cove Road, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Time: 10am-12pm

New Brunswick T1D Family Day hosted by Camp Dia-Best

New to camp? Thinking about camp? Interested in a day of family fun? All families and participants new and returning are invited to the Kingswood Entertainment in Fredericton. We will have access to the entire facility, with bowling, lazer tag, “Play Zone” and indoor archery! We’ll have an included afternoon snack, and Kingswood also has an on-site food vendor (at your cost) for any other food needs. D-Camps staff will be on hand to answer questions about camp and parents/guardians are expected to stay for the duration of the event. Low supplies will be provided, however, please bring all diabetes management supplies required. This event is free but cash donations are welcome.
 
Location: Kingswood Entertainment Centre, 1700 Kingswood Way, Hanwell, New Brunswick.
